Bag Lunch Project

Volunteer groups provide bag lunches or sandwiches for Gathering guests to take with them following their Saturday lunch meal. (The next large community meal is not available until Sunday at noon.) Bag lunches include a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, salty snack, dessert, fruit, beverage (water/juice), utensils

Amazon Grocery Partnership

Every Tuesday at Running Rebels (1300 W Fond du Lac Ave), The Gathering partners with Amazon, Feeding America, Running Rebels Community Organization.

Amazon donates fresh, nutritious groceries including premium proteins, produce, dairy and shelf-stable items. Feeding America stores the Amazon donations and delivers to The Gathering every week.

Meals for The Benedict Center, Sojourner and The Cathedral Center


The Gathering at Running Rebels provides 20 hot meals Monday-Friday to The Benedict Center, Helping Women Lead Safer, Healthier Lives through The Sister’s Program.

The Gathering at Running Rebels provides 60 hot meals 3 days a week to The Cathedral Center, serving women and their families who are experiencing homelessness.

Sojourner has been designated the 24-hour Domestic Violence Hotline for the City of Milwaukee and outlying communities since 1986. We provide them 40 meals 4 days a week.

The Benedict Center, Sojourner and Cathedral Center’s missions compliments The Gathering’s mission and we are grateful to partner with organizations dedicated to serving our neighbors in need.
