The Gathering’s Mardi Gras Fête
The Gathering’s 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Fêtes is nearly here! Come be a part of our celebration. As we bring the extravagance of Fat Tuesday to Milwaukee! This is a time to party and bring recognition to the cause of ending hunger. Since 1982, the Gathering has provided meals and associated services to those who would otherwise go hungry or without. Last year, we were able to serve 93, 980 meals to our guests. This is only possible because of our awesome community of supporters. Join us on March 4th as we decorate ourselves with beads, masks and the joy of giving. It will be a night to remember.
Souper Bowl of Caring
There are many everyday heroes that walk amongst us. But many of the unsung heroes aren’t displayed on our tv screens. They’re the ones giving back to their community. Please consider supporting The Gathering by contributing to our Souper Bowl of Caring drive. We partnered with Benevolist.org to make a drive that consists of items that we need at our meal sites. Thanks to your love and support we will continue feeding the hungry and keeping hearts full.

What We Do
At the Gathering, we provide 10 to 11 free meals each week, cooked on site at three Milwaukee locations, to those who would otherwise go hungry. We also offer services associated with ending hunger and homelessness and work to educate our community on hunger issues. We continued our services during the COVID-19 pandemic providing carry-out meal service to Milwaukee’s hungry and homeless populations. The Gathering will continue to serve carry-out meals to the hungry until it is safe again to serve meals indoors.
